Introduce skip counting by 10s using hundred chart

  • Every time we hop by 10, we jump 10 spaces
  • 10, 20, 30, 40 are like kangaroo jumps on our chart
  • Notice how the tens column changes each time

  2. Each time you count, add another tower of 10
  3. Hop like a kangaroo and count: 10, 20, 30, 40...
