Gather students and explain we're going on an 'adjective hunt' today. Ask students what they remember about describing words.
Explain that adjectives are words that describe things - they tell us about color, size, shape, or how something feels.
Students will search a simple text for describing words and circle them.
Simpler: Work together as a class to find adjectives
Challenge: Write new sentences using found adjectives
