Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students and discuss the different seasons. Show seasonal picture cards and ask students to share what they know about each season.

2Teaching (8 min)

Explain that today we will write about our favorite season and why we like it. Demonstrate using an opinion sentence frame: 'I think [season] is the best season because...'

Students share their favorite season drawings with a partner or small group.
