Gather students in a circle. Explain that today we'll practice being excellent listeners, just like we listen to God's Word.
Demonstrate the importance of listening by giving multi-step directions slowly and clearly.
Students will create a paper angel by following sequential directions
Simpler: Teacher demonstrates each step before students try
Challenge: Students must listen to all directions before starting
Review the steps taken to make the paper angel
Dear Jesus, help us to be good listeners, just like we listen to Your Word.
