Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students and review the story elements they've learned this week: characters, setting, problem, and solution.

2Teaching (7 min)

Today we will use everything we've learned to write our very own story! We'll start by filling out our story map to help us organize our ideas.

  • Show how your characters solve the problem

Students will complete their story map and then write their story, illustrating it as they go.
