Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Review r-controlled vowel patterns with class. Show examples of ar, or, er, ir, and ur words on board.

2Teaching (7 min)

Demonstrate how to write a short story using r-controlled vowel words. Explain that we'll create a story that uses these special words.
