  • Open space for movement

Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students in open space. Review previous day's learning about compass directions.

💭 Review Question: Who can tell me what 'north' means?
2Teaching (8 min)

Teach cardinal directions using body movements and a floor compass

  • North is always at the top
  • East is where the sun rises
  • West is where the sun sets
