“In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
— Proverbs 3:6 (WEB)Just like a map helps us understand where we are going, God's word guides our path in life
Gather children and show a large neighborhood map. Ask them what they see and if they notice any special symbols.
Explain that a map key tells us what different symbols represent. Show how each symbol on the map has a meaning.
Children will explore the neighborhood map, using the key to identify different locations.
Simpler: Help children identify just 2-3 locations
Challenge: Have children create a short story about a journey through the neighborhood using the map
