  • Large white paper
  • Crayons
  • Toy buildings or block shapes

Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students in a circle and show them a simple classroom map. Ask them what they think it shows.

A map is like a picture taken from high above, showing where things are located. Maps help us understand where things are without being there.
