  • Transportation picture cards (horses, wagons, cars, trains)
  • Large sorting mat
  • Glue sticks
  • Construction paper

Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather students and ask about how they travel around their community. Discuss different vehicles they've seen.

2Teaching (7 min)

Show pictures of different transportation methods from past and present. Explain how people used to travel differently.
