Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather children and ask about helpers they see in the community. Discuss different ways people help others.

Explain different community services: police officers protect us, firefighters keep us safe, librarians help us learn, parks give us places to play, and road workers make sure we can travel safely.
