Lesson Plan

1Opening (5 min)

Gather children in a circle and ask them what they know about where they live. Explain that today we'll be detectives discovering our town's special story.

2Teaching (10 min)

Introduce the concept of community history using simple, age-appropriate language. Show pictures of the town from long ago and now.
