Judges 2:16-18

Then Yahweh raised up judges, who saved them out of the hand of those who plundered them. Yet they didn't listen to their judges, but they prostituted themselves to other gods, and bowed themselves down to them. They quickly turned aside out of the way in which their fathers walked, who had obeyed the commandments of Yahweh. They didn't do so.
