Lesson Plan

1Opening (3 min)

Welcome to today's BibleMouse lesson! Let's review what we learned about Joshua's commitment to serving God.

💭 Review Question: Who remembers what Joshua said about his family serving God?
2Teaching (8 min)

After Joshua died, the Israelites started forgetting about God. They would do bad things, then God would allow enemies to defeat them. When they got sad and asked God for help, He would send a judge to rescue them.

📌 Key Talking Points:
  • God loves His people, even when they make mistakes
  • The Israelites kept doing the same wrong things over and over
  • God is patient and always wants us to come back to Him
💬 Discussion Questions:
  • What do you think it means to forget about God?
  • How can we remember to follow God every day?
