“Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; he won't stand before obscure men.”
— Proverbs 22:29 (WEB)Just as skilled artists draw attention to important details, we can be intentional about focusing on what matters most in our work and our faith
Today's BibleMouse art lesson is about how we can use detail to make something special in our artwork!
In art, we can use detail to help people look exactly where we want them to look. Just like in the Bible, where important messages get special attention, we can make one part of our picture extra special.
Create a simple scene where one object has lots of details
Simpler: Draw a simple flower and add extra details to its center
Challenge: Create a scene with multiple objects, but make one object much more detailed
Share your artwork and talk about where you added details
Coming up: Tomorrow we'll create an artwork about something important to you!
First graders are learning to be intentional about art creation
Children might want to add details everywhere or get frustrated with fine motor skills
